Marrakech based design studio Younes Duret is one of the most famous agencies for product-, interior- and graphic design in the arabic world. Younes and his sister Mia run the studio together and have moroccan - french roots. The challenge was to visualise the variety of competences and their cultural heritage in their Corporate Identity.

The letters are stretchable horizontally while the angles always follow the angles of the grid. This stretching behaviour represents the studios stretch between different design disciplines and adapts „Kashida“ the way of stretching letters in arabic-script text. This is the equivalent of justification in latin-script texts.

The colours refer to the city of Marrakesh as well as the 90s spirit of Younes Durets creation.
